Nice job by KK on the shootout but still don't trust the guy in net.

The officiating has just been beyond brutal. That Travis non-call was embarrassing enough but then they give Philly a PP on a phantom high stick. Really, I try not to be trash the officials but they have been awful.

I was thinking this last night, I don’t think he will demand a trade but IMO if we Make the playoffs this season he signs an extension early next season if not regardless of what happens next season I think he will test free agency

Hall still has 2 years left on his contract after this season. So he wont be testing all that soon. I do not think playoff or bust for him to leave based on this season.

He can't sign an extension until July 1st, 2019.

I wonder if Shero would have any interest in a one for one trade with Chiarelli, Taylor Hall for Adam Larsson? Edm is pretty desperate for scoring wingers.

It's hard to actualize how horrific the trade was for Edmonton.

Ya........because its better to have a 50/50 chance at the wildcard then a top 10 pick from schnieds, and another chance at first overall in the lottery (really the Devils would be in the bottom without schneids). This is not the Devils year, and trading Schnieds while his value is high is a very reasonable option i believe. He's 31 and I am not sure how long till the Devils will be true contenders.........

It's hard to actualize how horrific the trade was for Edmonton.

No sure that 4 min power play could have benefited us. It could easily go the other way. You saw what a pathetic power play we have not to mention SHG's allowed. We used to have a decant PP at the beginning of the season. But then again Cory was a solid back then

Not sure what you mean exactly. What year he is having. He is a star player and get pay like one. Every year should be like that. But then again it's not like he is on the pace for 40-50 goals. Every team has one of those. That's why we called them a star player.

50/50 chance this year ya.... but the next couple of years look really bright Nico, Bratt and Butcher will only continue to get better as time goes on and with Zacha finally looking like a top 10 pick and McLoed, Quenneville And many others in the pipeline it would be idiotic IMO to trade Cory For a pick without having a plan of what to do in Goal could set us back even longer

I was talking about Hall not on the pace for 40-50. I did not say every team has a 40 goal scorers. Every team has a star player. And they count on them to do this. When Kovi was playing no one ever said what a year he is having. He has done it for long time.

Does anyone know anything about defender Colby Sissons? He's having a really good season in the WHL 60pts in 57g with a +48. Also is anyone else afraid that McLoed will be a bust? I know some players take longer to develop but it didn't seem like he improved much from last year.

Is it unorthodox or against the rules to give a player a random *you are (frank)ing awesome* bonus? because Hall would deserve it 110%. The Devils organization should kick down Hall like 2 mill after this year as a thank you. I would be down for that. This kid is a gift from the hockey gods.
